Beginning therapy is an investment in your wellbeing and a chance to pause, reflect and make meaningful change.
This page outlines session fees, Medicare rebates and payment information so you can plan clearly and focus on what matters most: finding support that feels right for you.
Session fees
Initial fee (first session only) $260
Ongoing fee $210
Medicare rebate (MHTP) $98.95
The first session costs $260 with each 55 minute session thereafter charged at $210.
Medicare rebates
Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from their GP may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Medicare rebates can usually be processed on the day of your appointment and are typically returned to your account quickly.
If your referral is currently addressed to another psychologist, it can usually be transferred so you do not need a new plan.
Private clients without a Mental Health Care Plan will be charged the full session fee. If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate from your health fund - please check with your provider for details.
Payment is made by credit or debit card on the day of your appointment via a secure online system.
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee unless there are exceptional circumstances. Medicare rebates do not apply to cancelled appointments.
I am an approved NSW Victims Services Counsellor and can provide counselling for eligible clients accessing support through the Victims Support Scheme.
Many people accessing Victims Services are looking for therapy that feels safe, respectful and paced appropriately, particularly if previous support has felt rushed, overly clinical or too focused on symptom management.
If you are currently using the scheme, or would like to discuss whether you may be eligible, you are welcome to get in touch.
NDIS participants
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome.
Psychology sessions may be claimed under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living where appropriate. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss whether the service is a good fit for your needs.
Private health insurance
Rebates may also be available through private health insurance depending on your level of cover.
